The Sierra Nevadas. That lovely range of mountains on the Eastern side of California, dotted with cliff groves and alpine meadows, full of life and energy. Full of natural sites and beauty that make you ask yourself, every new year: “How do I get to that basin over there?” For over 15 years, up and down the the spine, I’ve been backpacking and hiking and wandering in awe of these mountains. These photos comprise but a tiny sliver of what you find in the Sierra wilderness. Truly, a special place.
